COVID-19 Safety Procedures
The safety of our swim families and staff has always been and will continue to be our #1 priority at Coastal Swim Academy. We are following our local, state and federal guidelines to ensure a safe place for all that visit. The CDC states “that there is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to humans by using pools”
We’re using CDC recommended cleaning products to wipe the facility as frequently as possible, sanitizing swim toys between lessons and making hand sanitizer available in multiple areas of the facility. Our swim instructors are wearing face shields in the pool, and we are requiring all adults out of the water to wear face coverings over their mouths and noses. Kids are not required to wear masks in the pool but those over the age of 5 are encouraged to wear them while they are not in a lesson.
At this moment, we are allowing only one caretaker to accompany each little swimmer, and the chairs in the viewing room are spaced 6 feet apart. Employees are monitoring traffic in and out of the building to remind people about social distancing. Plus, we are taking staff temperatures within 5 minutes of the beginning of a shift.
